An unusual livery at Preston - The Voyagers which transferred to Arriva Cross Country when Virgin lost the franchaise last year have been gradually repainted into this smart new colour-scheme. 286 viewsAlthough common further south, they don't normally venture as far north as Preston. On this occasion, a failed Virgin West Coast Voyager resulted in the hiring of this unit from Arriva. The train worked into Preston and then quickly south again, with the northward diagram being taken-over by a Virgin unit.
