88003 “Genesis” arrives at Blackpool North in fading light on the rear of the “Blue Boys” railtour, hauled from Blackburn on this leg by 57307.

This was the first Class 88 electro-diesel on the Blackpool lines and later hauled the tour as far as Birmingham on the way back to Newport.
